Explore Our Remote Wilderness!
Join us on an epic adventure as we explorethe beautiful wilderness that is the St. Croix River. It'll feel remote and, yet, it'sonly minutes from the Twin Cities.
Includes transportation, lodging, all gear and food for the trip.
However, this info helps us quite a bit in fitting you with the proper gear. Without this information it can be more difficult to ensure we have sleeping bags, sleeping pads, packs, life jackets and tents that are the best fit for you.
We mostly use 2- or 3-person tents.
You will have to move packs with your clothing, a few personal items, camp gear and some group gear and, possibly, your canoe. This is, generally, just moving stuff into and from camp... pretty easy.
It's important that we operate as a group.
Very important. Your Guides know what they are doing and what is best for the group.
Cool! Just know that it may or may not work!
Wild Hearts Adventures will provide all of the gear you need on this adventure. We supply packs, canoes, lifejackets, paddles, tents, sleeping bags, pads, cooking gear and supplies, first aid, headlamps, backpack chairs, etc. and, all the food on the trail.
However, we allow participants to use some of their own personal gear if it meets our requirements for this type of trip. We're a bit picky but you can check off those pieces of equipment listed below if you'd like us to consider allowing you to use them. We will most likely ask you for further details.
Has to meet our requirements.
30F rated minimum. You'll want one that compacts well and is light and, of course, warm. Ours are pretty good!
Must be insulated if an air pad and light enough for backpacking. We have both insulated air pads and foam core pads available.
Very nice to have and we provide them. But, if you have your own and it's light...
We have these but if you have one you really like and it is small and light enough you can probably bring it.
Must meet our minimum requirements.
